Course Description
The reality of investing is that trying to figure out whether to buy or sell a stock is a fairly iterative and repetitive process. The goal for this module is to give you some structure behind it.
This module takes all the learnings from Modules 1 to 6 and puts it into a framework that can better enable the protege to frame their investment decision in a manner that it can be applied over and over again. The protege is introduced to the 8 Questions that every investor should be asking about a prospective stock.
The module also presents a starting point for investors in identifying potential stocks for investing. One of the more common fears people have about investing in stocks is trying to figure out what stocks are worthy of consideration. There are thousands upon thousands of publicly traded companies. Which ones are worth investing in? The module walks you through a simple process of identifying companies using some simple first principles that each of us interact with on an everyday basis as a starting point for further evaluation.
Estimated Course Time: 2 hours 11 minutes
MATH-I-NESS FACTOR (1=No Math, 5=Spreadsheets Galore) : 6
The Module builds up on the learnings of the previous courses, which contain a heavy math component, which we will touch on and review briefly. For the most part, we will reviewing the data that was generated from our calculations in those modules.
